Elevated my training game. Now we can use this to advance training drills quickly without having to use nomex, tin foil, or anything else to simulate not having vision. The protection it gives to the lens is also a nice plus!
Shields fit good and protect. Simulates a good black out situation.
Fit is fantastic and it’s great for “smoke out” drills. Stays on without issues and pops off easy when I need to use it. Only wish was the colors were as vibrant as the website showed.
Got my shield and love it. Fit my Scott AV3000 mask perfectly. Did a custom design and it came out Awesome. The design team did a great job with my requests and a quick turnaround time with changes. Fellow members of my dept were super impressed and even a few ordered their own.
Ordered a smoked out shield for training and could not be more pleased with this product. Sturdy, reliable, easy on and off and much more effective than some Cling Wrap bulls*t. I love this shield!

No more cling wrap or wearing your hood backwards to simulate low visibility. The smoke mask is great and easy to put on.
This is well thought out, simple and well constructed. I bought the quick-release buckle as well , both will be put to good use!
I bought these carabiners for our Seek thermal imagers. Each riding position is issued one and they are attached via traditional non locking carabiners which can open easy and get tangled in things.

These definitely provide great blackout but also protect your mask in case of unintentional bumps.
I had a design in mind that I wanted to put on my custom shield and BA Shields had my order in production the very next day. Communication was not a problem at all. I had my shield in my hands in less than a week. The only thing I would have changed with my order was to see if I could’ve gotten it to be a little brighter. It looked brighter in the picture they sent me to approve the design. Overall, I’m pleased with my order and will continue to give BA Shields my business.
